| So tonight another large chapter in my life has ended. When I started Stargate SG1 last October, I never thought that it would become a family event that we would all love. Almost every single night for the past several months, our family would gather round the 13" tv and enjoy an episode. Now that it has ended, our entire family is in mourning. Although we have The Ark of Truth and Continum left to watch, it doesn't seem the same. I'll miss you SG1! | | |
| Hello again. As the weeks pass, I see less and less of a need to post here. Rarely anyone reads my blog anyways, so really all I am doing is talking to myself, something I normally do in a less public manner, but oh well, I don't really care.
Isaac and I have, after getting our Clearplay dvd player, been watching a marathon of action movies, which I love. Recently we have watched:
The Lord of the Rings series, all in extended editon. (Amazingly epic)
Batman Begins. (The action scenes were too frenetic for me, I couldn't tell what was going on.)
Transporter. (Utterly hilarious. Isaac and I will most likely watch it agian before taking it back to the library.)
Mission Impossible II. (It really is amazing how the bad guys can have machine guns and still manage to miss the hero who is standing in the middle of the room.)
Also, today on our way to work we picked up The Tuxedo, a Jackie Chan movie, The Last Samurai, and we have Mission Impossible III left to watch from our last trip to the library.
I find the fact that we only have 3 more episodes 'till the end of Stargate SG1 VERY depressing. | | |
| With a father like mine, I have several. A few favorites however are pickle slices in chocolate fondue and yogurt with ground cinnamon in a tortilla shell. Yeah...Don't ask ;) I just answered this Featured Question, you can answer it too!
As a side-note, Isaac just bought As Cities Burn "Son I Loved You at Your Darkest", and "Come Now Sleep". They're both good, but I really really love "Come Now Sleep". I thought I'd post the (rather short) lyrics to "Clouds":
Is your love really Love? Is my love really Love? I think our love isn't Love, Unless it's Love to the end.
Is your god really God? Is my god really God? I think our god isn't God, If he fits inside our heads.
Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go mourn the lack of Stargate, we finished season 8 *cries*, and finish up my 8 page paper due on weds.

| So its April. And its still really cold. I'm getting sick and tired of all the cold weather we've been having.
Anyways, my life has been fairly uneventful. I write papers, re-write papers, and write some more papers. ....and thats about all I can think of to write. More later
P.S. Brawl is awesome! | | |
| Found a painter who has the most beautiful art style I've seen yet. His name is John William Waterhouse.
"My Sweet Rose"
One of his paintings. Isn't it beautiful? Of course he has nude women in some of his paintings so I deliberatley avoided them, but doesn't just about every painter have nudes? Anyways, here is another one, this one is my second favorite.
"Boreas"
